The decision required Google to delist certain internet\u00a0search results when a search query was made using an\u00a0individual\u2019s name. Commentators worldwide have referred to this\u00a0delisting as the Right to be Forgotten. This article analyzes the\u00a0legal background of the case, and the implications for technology\u00a0companies and individuals.
