The student-led journal focuses on the intersection of technology and the law; in this respect, it was one of the first of its kind upon its founding in 1998. JOLT consistently ranks as the fourth best technology and law journal in the country. Additionally, JOLT is second only to our Law Review at UNC Law.<\/p>\n<p>JOLT takes a broad view of the term \u201ctechnology.\u201d As such, topics in many seemingly divergent areas of the law can qualify for publication in JOLT, provided there is a relationship to a field of technology.
