Each Staff Writer writes a publishing-quality Note, a <a href=\"https:\/\/journals.law.unc.edu\/firstamendmentlawreview\/first-amendment-blog\/\">Blog Post<\/a>, and they complete 6 cite checks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">How do I join FALR?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <em>First Amendment Law Review<\/em> staffs the journal through the University of North Carolina School of Law&#8217;s Joint Journal Competition (JJC), commonly known as a &#8220;write-on.&#8221; The JJC is open to all rising 2Ls, 3Ls, and transfer students at the University of North Carolina School of Law. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">How can I become an Editor at FALR?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The First Amendment Law Review opens its Executive and Editorial Board applications in the Spring each year. Any law student at UNC who was a staff member on any journal may apply, but applicants must have taken First Amendment Law to be eligible for Editor in Chief, Executive Editor, or  Chief Article and
